STRIDENT was founded by Mike (guitar) and Den R. (bass) in 2004
The first show was in 2005 in Beer sheva (Israel), and later the band performanced all across Israel.
The days were days of booze and loud music, and Strident did music like no other band did, it was old school thrash from the kind that almost vanished from this world.
After numerous changes in the line-up, and the leaving of one of the establishers of the band, the band recovered itself and the song "Major Pain" was recorded, with Scorcher as lead singer.
Unfortunatly it wasn't the end of the changes and as the time passed there where more changes in the line-up. After the last change in the line-up, the band found itself again with only one guitar player (as it was originally) and with a new drummer, who played in the band before.
The current line-up includes: Mike (lead/rhythm guitar&back vocals), Roma (bass), Demon (vocals) and BlacksmithDen (drums).
